Friday, April 21st
8pm - 12 am

Georgia Tech Skiles Walkway

Please join the Georgia Tech Taiwanese American Student Association, Friday April 21st for the First Annual Night Market Event from 8 pm to 12 am!!

In Taiwan, Night Market is a very integral part of the Taiwanese culture.  Normally held at night in the streets and alleys of Taiwan, people come out to share food, games, merchandise and performances, creating a very lively, exciting, and fun environment.

The Georgia Tech Taiwanese American Student Association (TASA) is going to recreate this atmosphere and celebrate cultural diversity among the various Asian communities.  Night Market will be held on Skiles Walkway, at Georgia Tech and will include carnival type games, performances, raffles and cultural activities!!  TASA’s Night Market will not only showcase the Taiwanese culture, but the culture of participating Asian organizations as well!

TASA is raising money for Relay for Life.  we are selling vouchers for playing paintball at Ultimate Paintball.  you can read good reviews for their field.  it's $30 for 10 vouchers ($3 each for people who are bad at math).  each voucher includes rental of a gun and mask, all day air, and field fee.  that would typically be $30 sooooo it's like $30 for a value of $300!!!  all you have to do is buy their paint.  groups can buy a couple cases of 2000 paintballs and share.  they have ALOT of fields and different set ups.

this is a great activity for groups and it saves a whole buttload of money. ou don't even need big groups.  you can take 5 people and go twice.

if you're interested, please contact mandy.chiang@gatech.edu.

it's ALOT of fun even if you don't know how to play.  just ask the people from TASA who went.  the field has alot of inexperienced people and you can always tell the referee on the field that you just want to play amongst your own little group.  Ultimate Paintball is really the best field around here.  it's about 25-30 minutes north of Tech.
